To avoid injuries ALL riders must wear full protection (except SxS) and ALL ATVs must be equipped with hand guards. Copy the Swedish riders (see pictures for good and bad…) using big shields. There is lots of brushes and thornes and branches!
Big shields should also protect your GPS-devices. Also in this case COPY the Swedish 🙂 or some Polish. 🙂
Remember: all Garmin GPS devices brought to CFMOTO-HUNT-THE-WOLF must be set on ENGLISH language. Make sure you change the language now to train with them on English. We will NOT accept your device if NOT set on English.
Attention: ADVENTURE riders must NOT bring a GPS device but must have a GPS-APPLICATION on there smart phone (motionx or GPX-viewer or Alpenvereinaktiv or…). ADVENTURE riders will get their tracks by mail, tracks will NOT be uploaded on any of their devices.

Noise does not make pilots faster, but makes locals angry. Therefore and to decrease the environmental impact caused by this event, since 2 years loud exhausts, like aftermarket (sport) exhausts have been banned by our rules. 2017 will be the very last year in which such aftermarket exhausts are tolerated IF equipped with silencers. If you don’t want to put the original exhaust on your vehicle, or a silencer inside, please do not come. Lets be happy that CFMOTO-HUNT-THE-WOLF remains an event with very few rules. And to keep it like this, stick to the few given! No silencer = no start = fun and money lost. You better do not risk it. Read the rules again and again also for other issues!
THE HERO ON A QUAD NOW COMES 4X4
In CFmoto-Hunt-the-Wolf the Czech pilots Petr Sevcik and David Kohout were a very special team over the last years: Petr as great driver on a KTM 2×4 quad and his friend David as a patient help on his Canam 4×4. In an interview last year Petr still said 4×4 is boring. But now this tough guy just registered in Crossover – with a Renegade 1000! With him of course David and a another friend, Pavel Starman. They will certainly shake up Crossover class!

100 PILOTS ALREADY REGISTERED
Swedish Stefan Strandberg is pilot number 100 who registered for CFMOTO-HUNT-THE-WOLF 2017. Welcome! This year there is more racers then ever in the EXTREME class. Let’s see how many the wolf will grab. 🙂 Also in the other classes the run for podium will be very challenging. And there is still over 80 days time to register!

BRYAN TRAINS ON 250 MILES DESERT RACE
Bryan Buckhannon, US-Pro pilot coming to CFMOTO-HUNT-THE-WOLF 2017 just raced a cool speedy desert race in Arizona. Here what he says: “Here are a couple pictures of our race from this weekend. Don Higbee and myself are on a team.
We took the early lead on the first 75 miles then Don had a little get off. Lucky he was ok and the quad had a couple small issues.
I mounted back up for the last 75 miles but couldn’t catch the leader. We had a skid plate hanging down that was digging into the ground. 80-85 MPH so had to back it down a little just to finish.
We had the only 4×4 in the pro quad class so still a great finish and start to the season!
The name of the Series is Best in The Desert (BITD.com) This was in Parker, AZ 250 mile race. All in one day. My teammate is Don Higbey which would like to race HTW possible next year!

Hello in 2017! Right now the wolves and we are freezing here inTransylvania. But all the snow will melt until CFMOTO HUNT THE WOLF 2017, the world’s hardest and coolest ATV event. Count down: there is only little more than 80 days left until the start of the 11th edition.
What is new in 2017? Well, a lot! First of all the location in the middle of a superb and remote landscape. Then all tracks in all classes are new, driving them will be like exploring wilderness. New is also the changed Adventure class mode: it is a mixture of the past completely free driving and a given track. Some days in Adventure will have a full GPS track to follow. Therefore the Side by Side class merges with the Adventure class.
No changes in Crossover and Extreme, both offering demanding and really hard to follow GPS tracks. Since there is like no visible tracks in both classes correct GPS reading will be essential. Begin your training now!
And in EXTREME keep your ambitions low: you are already a winner if you can reach the finish line in time each day. Remember that.
